These are the 2 lines I'm doing right now they have 8 compression fittings, brass on them when I bought it not leaking but visible corrosion and some rust on line on the edge of two of the fittings. Went in knowing what I need and advanced tried giving me the wrong end fitting 3 times and arguing about it because he can't understand the 10x1 thread with the fucking end of the fitting being smooth for the flare not threaded to the end. Apparently he's only seen bubble flares ever with that kind of fitting lol.

This is NOT how to determine the condition of the ball joints. It is RADIAL (lateral, side-to-side) movement you need to look for.

Like the video. I have a 2009 Silverado 1500 with a 5.3. Where is the sdm airbag computer located on this truck? Would disconnecting it keep the truck running without the drop out of gauges I'm experiencing right now?

At least I heard the magic words. Torque the lug nuts. You can get an adequate torque wrench for this purpose for $9.99 with a coupon at that discount tool chain with the ship in their logo. And it does work. Their 12 volt impact tool at $25 works very well too for removing wheel nuts. And you may need it if some technician overtorqued them with an impact wrench. I got an elbow injury once yanking on a breaker bar trying to loosen an overtorqued wheel nut. Better to pound on it or jump up down with your feet. If the nut breaks loose suddenly, it can put a lot of force throught your elbow or some other joint. A little spray lube might be good idea too and so is using anti-sieze when you put the nuts back on. I have more 40 years experience fixing bad work done by previous owners and incompetent technicians on the many used cars I have owned, and even found sabotage by a mechanic in one case to set up another repair. Still at it today, literally today.
